Buyer Beware

When looking for a used piano, a buyer may be unaware of major problems.

Recently I came across a newly purchased grand piano and noticed the harp had a crack. This piano was basically ready for disposal. The owner lost her total investment and because there was no warranty, she was extremely disappointed.

Sometimes a piano can have loose tuning pins, or a cracked sound board. This also can be very costly to repair.

It's always wise to have a piano checked by a reputable piano technician before making a purchase.
